Tracks - Mobile Ticket Application

While waiting for a train during the pandemic, it came clear how dependent we as a nation are on paper tickets still. This struck me for a number of reasons, in such a technologically advanced time it seems bizar that more people aren't using mobile tickets, the amount of paper that is used and disposed off must be alarming and finally how much interaction is required at a ticket machine specially during a global pandemic.
