The Smoking Jalapeño is a vegetarian and vegan Mexican food stand. After finding vegetarian and vegan food a little underwhelming at festivals, they wanted to create dishes tasty enough to get even the most carnivorous carnivores thinking, “maybe I could be a veggie…”

I was challenged to create a brand identity and website that was bold and vibrant for their 2019 summer launch. After playing around with a few ideas, the Mexican wrestler became a clear figurehead for the brand, using bold colours and patterns to express the food’s unique
and exciting flavours.

I designed and built an effective one page website as most users will be on the go when using the site.
