iOS 8

Exploring directions iOS could take in future versions (obviously it's not going to change this drastically for iOS 8 but I can dream... :) )

Over time I've grown a bit more comfortable with minimalist visual styles for interfaces, provided that the elements of the interface still have 'weight' to them. Shadows/gradients/bevels are still great ways to provide subtle context and visual cues as to how elements relate to each other (which is as important as ever with the increasingly physics-based UIs we're starting to see).
