Honey Bee

Bees are an integral part of our lives... they perform the pollination which provides us with about 35% of our food. Crops like blueberries and cherries rely 90% on honey bee pollination. So those crops would most likely be gone if bees were gone. This overlooked topic must be taken seriously.
What's killing the bees?
FERTILIZERS
Herbicides
Parasites found in most chemicals
Diseases like "Colony Collapse Disorder" which have been wiped out millions of beehives.
Some things you can do!
Don't use any chemicals in your garden (fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, fungicide )
Avoid bee products or buy from local beekeepers who are transparent about their business
Plant native bee-friendly flowers like daisies, wild lilac, Hibiscus, radish, okra, litchi, etc
Educate yourself and your family about the topic.
If you don’t have space or can’t make it to your local farmer’s market, you can fund new hive installations in your community or sponsoring a honey beehive.
