The way we use buttons to interact with the physical systems the same goes for the digital ones. Every button is a building block in crafting the experiences for the user. And hence buttons to communicate and through correct interactions is crucial. It should give clear affordances without making any visual noise. There are a few factors like style, size, nudges to appropriate action for the user, internal and external consistencies, principle of feedback while interacting with the system. These points must be taken care of while designing buttons.
