Doe is a fictional community that connects small time artists with their fans, allowing them to announce music releases, concerts and interact with other members of the community. I initially got the idea of Doe from Do-Re-Mi in the sound of music, and you already know what I had to make the artist name.

As a non-illustrator, finding the asset that would couple with the interface was probably the hardest part of the entire process. It also reminded me that I should probably clean up my resource folder. Anyway, I absolutely love the yellow color scheme, something about it is extremely calming. Though I’m actually a little scared it might be too light and doesn’t pass the color contrast checker for accessibility.

I also imagine that the little deer logo on the top could turn or put on earphones or something cool like that. Though that’s to be left for another challenge (motion graphics I’m coming for you next).
