Stingy Jack and the Origin of the Jack-o'-Lantern

I created this piece to tell the story of Stingy Jack, the Irish legend that is said to be the origin of the modern Jack-o-Lantern. My design depicts the three stages of this tradition today; picking your pumpkin, carving your pattern, and setting it out on your porch to ward off evil spirits.
