Bornean Orangutan - Dandy Endangered Species

Meet Oscar, one of the last Bornean Orangutan living on our little planet 🌏
Because of hunting for pet trade and deforestation they are on the brink of extension. Their number seem relatively high but their population have declined by more than 50% over the last 60 years and their habitat has been reduced by 55% over the past 20 years.
They are extremely helpful because they disperse seeds that are critical for keeping the forests healthy. 🌳

This piece is part of a serie portraying critically endangered animals as hipsters having a cool life, with dandy clothes, trendy sneakers and a snooty look 😎
As a designer I feel useless most of the time, so it's my way to help by helping raising awarness on these amazing species we are abandonning.

Want to help? @wwf always has a lot of projects if you want to donate. You can even virtually adopt endangered species, the money will be used to help create anti-poaching teams and develop new programs to preserve them.
Don’t hesitate to share 💚💚
