Not-Hectic Competition Flyer

Company Description:
Not-Hectic is a contemporary lifestyle crusade strictly engrossed on STYLE, which is the definite outstanding characteristic of a person or place. Not-Hectic Lifestyle was established in the year of 2018 with one objective in mind – to break the norms of our day to day lifestyles. We do not need expensive brands to look cool, attractive, and acceptable in the society. We do not need to feel second-rated or lesser because we are not dressed in expensive brands. “ALL WE NEED IS STYLE & IT’S IN YOU” Not-Hectic Lifestyle is here to remind you that life isn’t really hectic, only if we can have the insolent attitude to operate with the accessible assets we have at a time, but with STYLE.

Target and Challenge:
The challenge here was to create a competition flyer that had an easy way for students to enter the competition without causing any freezing or glitching due to a large volume of entries at once. Targeted at college/university goers who have a passion for fashion on a budget, the competition involved giving students a budget of R1000. The students would have a timer counting down as they shopped in-store for an affordable outfit that they would need to assemble on mannequins.
The Student with the best dressed mannequin would win R50 000 in cash.

Problem Solved:
The solution to our problem came in the form of a custom QR Code.
Students would be required to scan the QR Code on their phones and fill in the entry form for submission. The process would be fully-automated with reports detailing our contestant’s information coming in at the end of the week for a final draw.

Outcomes and Achievements:
The Client was very happy with the design and the custom QR Code.
Unfortunately, I never found out if the Client got the flyers printed and distributed or if the competition ever happened.

Responsibilities:
I worked on this project as the Graphic Designer and Marketer for my Client.
My responsibilities for this project includes the following:
- Following Brand Guidelines for the Flyer Design
- Creating a custom QR Code
- Overall layout of flyer and visual aesthetics
- Research on Colleges/Universities in the area for targeting
- Responsible for the Body Copy of Flyer

Conclusion:
Although I could not see the outcome of this project, working on it really got my creative juices flowing and I thoroughly enjoyed being faced with a challenge I have never had the pleasure of experiencing before!
Seeing how pleased my Client was with the outcome of this design was the cherry on-top for me.
