06 | Ella Mai — Ella Mai

As in all top 10 I've done, I couldn’t miss a good dose of the R&B that I love so much. This year the one in charge of giving me the album of that genre that I needed was Ella with her homonymous record full of songs with a fresh and modern sound. I knew her music a while back, and considering that I had loved absolutely all the songs that she had released to date, I knew that with her debut album I wouldn’t be disappointed. The production has a fairly solid composition where the purest and most authentic state of modern R&B prevails, as well as including small touches of hip-hop and trap that accentuate the whole atmosphere of the production so well. An album worthy of being sheltered and admired forever for its beauty.

Fav tracks: Sauce, Cheap Shot, Shot Clock, Own It and Trip
