Baba Yaga

Baba Yaga is a character from Russian folk tales. Parents scare the children, saying that she will take and eat them for bad behavior.
In fairy tales, she appears as a forest witch living in a hut on chicken legs. The hut stands in a swamp, surrounded by a fence of bones.
But she does not take the children herself. Geese and swans do it for her. After the swan geese have brought the child to the old woman, she feeds him and puts him in the oven.
