Kelsey The Triceratops
Kelsey’s skeleton was preserved in a flood plain about 65 million years ago, near the close of the Cretaceous Period, the last "Age of the Dinosaurs". She stood about seven and a half feet high, probably grew to twenty four feet in length and weighed nearly six tons! Amongst her bones, more than 20 Nanotyrannus teeth were found. She must have put up quite a fight.
Kelsey’s fossil can be viewed today at The Childrens Museum of Indianapolis.
