HOME DESIGN STUDIO

This image is a digitally rendered shot of a home office done for a client 3 years ago.

The client wanted a home design studio where he and his mom could both use. It's as if they knew that a need for a home office was going to be handy especially in 2020.

They wanted a studio that's bare, and also which would cost the least amount of money and effort.

I proposed this scandanavian type of design for them. The idea was to provide a space that symbolizes a blank canvas, nothing inside and a lot of space for input and creation. That office will serve as their canvas as they start their new creative processes in that space.

I used polished concrete for the floor and accent wall to cater to the client's wishes of bare and cost effective. White walls and ceilings were also used opposite the windows to reflect the light it receives from the windows, thus illuminating the entire studio.

This project was fun and simple. However, a simple project doesn't always need simple solutions. Sometimes we need to take that simple solution, and bump it up a notch, improve it, adapt it to its context.
