Jack vs Aku

The story telling, the lack of dialog, the robots, the action... there is so much to love about this masterpiece of a show but what really hit me as a kid was the stylized visuals. Seeing how Genndy Tartakovsky simplified his characters and landscapes changed the way I looked at objects in the world. Everything is made of shapes.

This show was a big sources of inspiration to me as a kid and is a huge reason I’m a graphic designer today. I’m so thankful for the path God has put me on and the part Samurai Jack has played in it.

Love the idea of rethinking some of Aku’s forms.
