ALMOST

Feeling super nostalgic lately. Maybe it's due to THPS 1+2 being remastered, a Dude Ranch cover album releasing, or just catching up with old friends while everyone is stuck inside.

Skateboarding has always been a huge influence on me. It brings so many different walks of life together around a frankly hard as shit physical art form. I told myself at the start of quarantine that I wanted to get back out there and try to relearn the basics (without breaking anything), but only if I designed a custom deck.

The concept is based around the idiom: "Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades." We used to get close to landing tricks, but stick it out over and over, because getting close doesn't count. Just some goofy motivation for an old poser.
