Lagoe Labs

Lagoe Labs is a laboratory for making minimalist accessories for decoration.
The briefing asked for a symbol based on the uvula, so the shape of the symbol was created with the seventh Gestalt law, the Closing law. with that the shape of the uvula is created from the optical closure in another way. The construction of the symbol is made from the golden rectangle and its proportions, and the typography defined for the logo follows more charged lines, aiming at greater tangibility in the use of the logo alone, without the symbol necessarily supporting it. In addition to the thicker line, the logo uses the hyphen as a support element so that the two words together occupy the same space and enhance the typographic stain. In addition to the logo and symbol, graphics applied to pieces strengthen a brand's identity and give more depth to the brand. For Lagoe Labs, the graphics were designed with a view to minimalism in future materials, so they consist of the simplest of drawings, the line, but several lines starting from the initial shape of the uvula, repeatedly and forming volume.
