This Will Be Televised Film poster

In 1984, as tensions rise from multiple outcomes of the miner’s strike, television seems to portray nothing but violence in society. Following paranormal attempts to lure and delude the protagonist, a creature with no face and a merged widened creature with sharp teeth and mass deformity proceed to reveal itself from the television.

This Will Be Televised is a 1980s style horror film created by director Jay Notley and his crew. This poster aims to give a feeling of the genre as well as the story’s suspense, giving the audience an initial idea about the film before they’ve seen it.

My hope for this film is to generate a mix of suspense, horror and familiarity in a fantasy style way with the audience. – Jay Notley
