Struggle with a hint block

During the designing process I came across this problem. After resizing the highlighted graph the hint block should move, but in which direction?
I cannot decide if it would be better to position it underneath the graph or rather than next to it, and thus filling the empty space that would appear there if the hint block would go underneath.
I am counting on your experience that you would be able and willing to share some of your ideas on this.
