Shrunken Apple Heads

When I was a kid my Dad would carve faces into apples and put them in the sun where they would shrivel up into little old people. I thought this was so cool. (I was 5) I'd like to think that's where my love for carving tiny heads started.

For Father's Day this year I recreated my own version of "shrunken apple heads".
