Judson Tower

I have been designing things for my mom's birthday the past few days. Most represent things she likes or places we love visiting as a family. Green Lake, Wisconsin is definitely one of them. This is one of the main prayer towers.

If you're in Wisconsin I encourage you to visit! There's usually a lot of fun activities to do. Right now the rules are slightly different during covid-19! The small store isn't open that has old time snacks from different decades. If you know of a fun one suggest it and they might add it!

Some fun facts:

it has a total of 121 stairs.
Its observation platform is 140 feet above the lake.
Its 75,000 gallon tank was filled from a 400 foot well near the boat house.
Now named in honor of pioneer Baptist missionaries Ann & Adoniram Judson.

Carillons play every hour. (It's loud, but beautiful you can hear it all the way from the youth center grounds). Sadly the bells no longer play. It's a recording. They removed them to preserve them some where on the grounds I think.
