Bed-Stuy Neighborhood Branding Campaign

A recent revision of an old school project and my first time exploring brand identity design, circa 2017.

We were assigned to choose a city or neighborhood and create a brand campaign using a central theme that reflects the place we are focusing on (culture, community, art, lifestyle, etc). I chose to place the spotlight on Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, with a focus on its culture, community, and lifestyle.

Theme: Bed-Stuy can also be hailed “Brooklyn’s Harlem.” In the midst of gang riots, violence, and more, there was always still a sense of strong culture from the 50’s through the 90’s. Bed-Stuy has been the home of many of America's accomplished entrepreneurs, artists, politicians and philanthropists.

This brand campaign celebrates the many great people who were born and raised there.
