CHANDIGARH_CAPITAL COMPLEX

In 2017 Jan, I got the opportunity to witness the Architecture of Le Corbusier. It was a study trip to Chandigarh to study the passive and active strategies of some of the sustainable buildings there. Le Corbusier experimented with the sizes if fenestrations to achieve glare-free light and shade on the south and westerns facades. Before building the high court and assembly halls he built the prototype of the facade in a 1:1 scale on the open public plaza that connects assembly and high court.
