Poeticoding Final

So over the last week I have been working very hard getting this Poeticoding logo finished. Me and the client went through many many iterations to get to here. We used manuscript paper with coding symbols, a quill, fountain pen nib and a lot of sketches. At the end of the day he could not decide exactly what he liked. So we tried something very simple and this is the end result. My initial concept was to try and show the emotion and passion by using a mark to support the type, but the words say it all. We had to try all the options to finally get to here. Sometimes it's not about the DESTINATION, but about the JOURNEY itself.

In this case, the end result may be far slung from the original ideas, and may contain elements we see everyday. But the client loves it.

Infact the simplicity has grown on me somewhat.
