Escola Setembrina - Visual identity

Setembrina is a public company in the state of Rio Grande do Sul that has existed for over 100 years. Generations of students passed through the school and the project aims to honor the history of the students who grew up in the school and became citizens within it.

The concept is "From playful to conception", and graphically works the evolution of students from the first year of elementary school to the third year of high school. There are 12 years in the school, from 6 to 18 years old. The student enters like a child, in all his innocence, and leaves an adult, ready for the world and the job market.

3 basic geometric shapes graphically represent evolution. The 5-pointed star represents the playful, the pentagon represents the transformation process and the circle, the conception of a citizen. The choice of shapes was made on the assumption that a 5-pointed star is a completely playful view of the star and the circle, its most real shape; the pentagon being the intermediate form.
