Missed Connection Rebooking Service

37% of flights booked on Hopper have at least one connection between origin and destination. Per a survey we ran on completed trips with connections, we asked customers to rank their anxiety level when it comes to making their connection. A rating of 1 was “Not at all”, while a 10 rating was “Extremely”. 21% of customers rated their anxiety level as 8 or above.

On the same survey, we noticed that 7% of travelers missed their connection during their trip, and the likelihood of missing a connection when flying international increases by 20% when compared with domestic flights.

With that in mind, we've created a product to help reduce travelers' anxiety around missing a connection for any reason outside of their control, and allow them to rebook a new flight to their destination without any other extra cost. All directly in-app, in only 3 taps!
