Kamerun

This illustration was intended to promote a charity concert in favor of an orphanage in Cameroon, for this reason all the flowers and animals that appear in the illustration live in Cameroon, a country with such rich and diverse biodiversity which is known as "Africa in miniature". To adjust to the reality of the environment of the orphanage, most the species live or are endemic specifically to the Nkongsamba region. On the other hand, I also tried to incorporate threatened species to give visibility to all the plants, flowers and animals that unfortunately are disappearing mostly at the hands of humans. This is the case of the garnet frog "Cardioglossa manengouba" which is classified as critically endangered in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
