Primary mark work for Porphyry Press, a boutique publishing press inspired by the Wrangell Mountains in Alaska. The namesake derives from Porphyry Mountain (a prominent summit in the range) and the geological components it's comprised of—porphyritic rock. This igneous rock consists of large-grained crystals within fine-grained groundmass—reminding us that there are treasures even in the common.
