I designed these flags for my daughters and they will be hanging from the modified play-structure we've been rehabbing during the pandemic.

My mother-in-law cut/sewn/stitched everything and for scale both measure about 17'' x 11''. She says she never wants to make me another flag because the nylon versions (these are cotton) sucked to make because the material was tough to work with. Yes, we have outdoor versions of these flags too because these two are getting framed and going up on a wall somewhere.

While the designs weren't transferred 1:1, I treasure these original works that came from my brain, for my kids, and made by the hands of their grandmother. This was my first time "making" a real flag but it helped me truly realize it's a good idea to at least, consider, scale and feasibility when creating flag designs.
