Pipeline to Kubernetes

To support a presentation at Microsoft Build 2019, I iterated on my earlier design for creating a new pipeline.

Since deploying to a Kubernetes cluster is a fairly complex process, I came up with a simple way to capture some additional configuration information.

This feature went from concept to production in just a few short months and, while I was already familiar with Kubernetes, I had to do a deep dive into Azure’s Kubernetes Service. I worked closely with the feature team to find the right balance between simplicity and flexibility while ensuring that we did everything possible to improve the user’s probability of success.
