Linkedin logo redesign concept

I had this concept in my head for a long time and eventually executed it - just for fun. From the practical view, my logo has both advantages and disadvantages. For example, on the one hand, it isn't as wide as the current logo and looks better with the registered trademark symbol but, on the other hand, there might be some issues with legibility.
