Indigenous Logos

I am currently working on the interface design of a Taiwanese indigenous languages/Mandarin online dictionary.
This dictionary will contain 42 dialects of 16 ethnic groups on Taiwan island.
Inspiration lies in the images of mountains, eyes, seas, sunrises, and the three colors represented by the indigenous peoples. Also, I create patterns around Mandarin characters "Yuan" and "Zu."
For these two characters, "Yuan" comes form "YuanZhuMin," referring to "indigenous people" in Mandarin; "Zu" comes form "MinZu," referring to "ethnic groups" in Mandarin.
