Lifelogging Mobile App — User Flow
Here's a shot with yet another example of a deliverable that is generally useful within the interaction design phase of a UX design process. In my opinion, this is a user flow (and not a user journey as I erroneously assumed in the actual artifact). But hey, I have to admit that sometimes it gets a bit confusing to make the distinction between task flows from user flows, and honestly, in the early stages of a project things are pretty hectic to get caught up in using the proper definition for each deliverable produced. If the artifact helps communicate your design decisions or your vision, or whatever is that you want to inform, then using the "right" name really doesn't matter.
What do you think about user flows? To me, all the interaction flows are completely awesome — while they might take some time, they help me understand how users interact with a product so that people who use the design can fluidly navigate through the design to accomplish their desired goals.
See you in my next shot!
