Daily Logo Challenge | Day 08 - Ski Mountain Logo

Day 8. It was only a matter of time before I ran into some speed bumps in the project. Not a lot went right with today's logo. I actually had a totally different concept at the beginning in a totally different visual style to what I usually do.

After a bit of work on that concept, it just wasn't coming together so I had to say goodbye to that work and start again with what you see now. Along with that, my apps were really not playing ball either (is anyone else having big performance problems in Photoshop 2020?).

They must have taken Friday off and not told me. What I am happy about with this one is how the grid and element spacing turned out. The layout feels really solid. Should I start showing more behind the scenes stuff or just stick with a single finished piece each day? Well, either way, I'm hopeful that tomorrows one comes together easier than this one.
