Hereford Residential College is a student-governed organization that focuses on sustainability and diversity. They wanted a website that showcased who Hereford was and what the organization had to offer prospective students. This meant gathering a lot of information on all of their committees, programs, events, and so forth and organizing it in a way that can be easily digested. I created icons for committees, programs, and Hereford's three foci (to name a few) to better group the information and make it more visual. Photography was also used heavily throughout the site as a personable touch, which also helped to break up the content more. Before this web design, Hereford had a logo, but no other branding that they used. This new site gave them an earth-tone color palette, fonts, and cohesive icons. These were also used in a promotional print brochure that was handed out at university events to give students a snippet of information about what Hereford Residential College is - pointing those interested to the new website.
