Recognize Your Value

I’m sharing 5 things I’ve learned in my professional career so far! It’s been 5 official years since I moved to Richmond and started my career in Design. One of the first things I learned was how important it was to recognize your value and speak up for your own pay raises, promotions, and responsibilities. I still remember how stressed and nervous I felt the first time I talked to my boss about a promotion. With every conversation I learned to recognize my value and speak up with confidence about my worth. It may be nerve-wracking but you got this! Besides, who else is going to do it? 😁
