Landing Page & Logo (Two-a-Days Challenge)

Tackling the Daily UX/UI challenge two designs at a time, basing each set off of a "mini-case study" or user story.

Today, I came up with the brand, Sous-- an on-demand personal chef service.

• Brand Name: Sous ("Your own personal sous chef")
• Combined Prompts: Landing Page & Logo

• Product: On-Demand Personal Chef

• Device: Web

• Brand Attributes: Calming, reliable, casual, adaptable

• User: Jon is a time-strapped, work-from home foodie who loves to indulge every once in a while. He and his partner love to explore new foods but try to avoid restaurants due to COVID-19. He wants a way to have the feeling of "a night out" for a "night in" when he and his partner have date nights.

I had a lot of fun with this challenge. I wanted to incorporate movement and the senses above the fold to lure users to act now, which the video does fairly well. I also wanted to bring a casual feeling to the brand with the tone and language.

If I had more than a day:
-- I'd like to explore how to engage both prospective and current users above the fold past the typical "sign-in" and "sign-up" buttons.

This is another brand concept I'd love to continue building on in the future.
