Self Portrait

This illustration was inspired by a @scribble_journey activity card! 🤗 Stephanie Homan created a deck of activity cards that get people involved with art making and journaling!

This illustration was created from a card under the “confidence” category. It focused on my past, present and future self. When I read the prompt, I was inspired to create something based on my move to Minneapolis, MN. I came here with everything I could fit in my car and spent the better part of my first year staying on friends’ couches and commuting over an hour to work each day. It was really fun to reflect on where I came from and everything I have accomplished since then.

Apparently I also see myself cutting bangs in the future 🤷🏼‍♀️
