MASSIVE thanks to Glug Leeds & Creative Resource for having us on this week - in our talk we talked about 3 demons/bug bears/common issues both me and Rachel Cook have found in the creative industry, all of which we’ve experienced and that other people have told us they’ve experienced too - first up is 😈 THE INNER DEMON 😈
Why can we be so hard on ourselves as creatives? The inner demon is that little voice in your head that tells you your not good enough - It’s very easy for us to get attached to our work and sometimes when amends come back from a client or creative director we can take it personally, but you are much more than the work you create - try to not get tied up in linking your self worth to your work/career but try not to get tied up in it too much and realise that you are enough.
