New Desktop

I've been thinking about a new desktop design for days and I knew I don't really like the default way because it don't really match my background and I'd like to add some notes without using "Sticky Notes" from Windows. I tried to design it following my ideas but I don't think it is good enough yet. Could you please leave me feedback for this shot?
