Endangered Gorillas part 1

I participated in Wacom's art contest and decided to draw my artwork on Gorillas, the animal with whom we share 98% of our DNA. What struck me most is the fact that Gorillas are not aggressive savage primates that movies and pop culture portray them as, In fact far from it .They are seriously misunderstood creatures, simply because of their intimidating size. They are extremely gentle, caring, full of love and are mostly vegetarian. Which is why they are often called ' the Gentle Giant'.
Among the many threats that Gorillas face, I wanted to focus on Gorilla trafficking in this artwork. Baby Gorillas come for a huge price on the black market. An entire gorilla family which can have 2 to 30 members is murdered just to get hold of the baby. And the baby gets trafficked as trophies for tourists or winds up in an illegitimate zoo or is kept as a pet often mistreated and abused.
