Pill Reminder App Icon - Daily UI Challenge 005

Day 005 of the 100 Day UI Challenge!
Today's challenge was to create an icon. The icon is for a medicine reminder app. I know icons are typically best as vectors, but I was getting bored of flat design in icons, so I created this 3D modeled icon in Maya. For the small pellets, I used MASH nodes to apply dynamic forces to the mash points and filled the container. The lighting definitely needs some tweaking to give the pill more depth, but overall this was really fun to create!
