Hayden Historical Museum

Winning logo design for the Hayden Historical Museum. The museum centered around small-town rural life in Hayden, Indiana. As the hometown of Indiana Governor Edgar Whitcomb, some very successful athletes in the early 20th century, and "A Place Called Yesterday", a collection of every Life Magazine since they've been in print and a myriad of old pianos, Edison phonographs, organs, and records, the museum gives a glimpse into the everyday Hoosier's life throughout the last hundred years.

Embossed, linear, serif fonts that call to mind chiseled limestone, a subtle Art Deco emblem, all surrounding the image of Indiana itself, bring the viewer back into Southern Indiana in the early to mid 1900's.
