Cifir: branding & webdeign
Comprehensive project for a new accounting company: naming, corporate identity and web design.
After an accounts department separation from a jurisprudential organization into an independent business-unit, there appeared a need to develop a brand and corporate website.
This happened to be such a case when a customer trusted us completely despite a “boring” nature of company and was open for ideas and suggestions.
1. Naming
We had an aim to work out a simple name which was easy to remember taking into consideration specific features of business. After two iterations we created more than 50 various options. While choosing a name, we thought about the future: kept in mind development of the brand and its Corporate identity. The winner was “Cifir”! This name associates with maths, calculation, balance and accountancy which meets everyone’s needs.
2. Tagline
A tagline is a continuation of the name which expands it, makes it more understandable and gives directions. The winner of this category is “Flawless order in accountancy”. Emotional impact of this tagline is complete trust, accuracy and a bit of German scrupulosity in a good sense.
3. Corporate identity
As the basis, the first letter of the name was taken. “C”. A circle associates with a coin, with a Russian ruble. Also, animation was applied: movement of the circle which symbolizes movement of money. The font is clear and simple; it arouses connection with accountancy. A tribute of classics, simplicity and easiness of perception.
4. Website
When “pieces of the puzzle fell into place”, it was the time for website development. The team decided it would be an adaptive motion-site with nothing extra! Combination of illustrated, “live” design with simple and understandable interface for all users. A personalized illustration was made for each type of service. On the website there is a possibility to calculate the cost of service via a calculator and submit an application online. Besides, there is an additional section with tutorials. The website is useful and increases people’s financial literacy.
