Soft words is a space to share positive messages with the world.

On March 24, 2020, I learned that my family member was intubated for COVID-19. He, like many hardworking individuals, is a service worker; meaning that he had shown up to work every day to provide for himself and his family. Learning the news that he was ill was difficult and uncertain. And yet, I found myself remembering a happy summer spent with them many years ago.

Shortly after, I launched softwords.xyz — while there are many hard things happening around us, I also know the world to be a soft place.

So far, there have been over 300 visitors and 24 submissions of strength & support!
