Washington Warriors

As the Washington Redskins work to change their name and image it is important to pay homage to the original mark. When the Indian nation was asked to participate in a survey regarding the word, "Redskins" they were asked to associate their feelings about it and the majority of those surveyed posted they felt it was positive and most identified with the word, "Brave". For that reason, I went with the Washington Warriors as a concept and kept the spirit of that survey with a Brave Warrior. The updated logo incorporates a simplified version of the feathers from the old mark as well as the warrior's braid. To keep with the spirit of the old "R" Redskins logo the outline of the figure creates an "R" outline.
