Rainy season

Rainy season ☔ (梅雨 Tsuyu) is represented by the kanji of “plum” and “rain” because it’s also the season of plum ripening. During this period it might rain for several days in a row, but there’s also nice things to do like enjoying the blooming of hydrangeas, go to an onsen, take some pics under the rain or just staying indoors, which it’s quite easy in Tokyo. Thanks to all the underground connections between the trains and the shopping malls you can stay dry even if you go out 🌧
