Gendercide Poster Series

This project was to take a world issue and use my medium (graphic design) to create something to bring awareness to the issue. The goal of this poster series was to illustrate the harms of gendercide and the dangers but in a way that was more subtle. An issue such as gendercide is a very serious and graphic issue but in order to present it to the public I felt that using the imagery of broken objects to represent destruction was a more subconscious approach to get people to realize what they are viewing. Or at least to get them to do a double take and think about what they are viewing. I did not do the photography.
