Torii Gate

Missing Japan dearly during this quarantine. On this day two years ago, I was on a solo trip through Japan's countryside and stumbling into isolated Torii Gates out of nowhere was a welcome surprise.

I've also been playing lots of Ghost of Tsushima lately, and the art direction in the game is phenomenal. Tried to emulate a light wind animation evocative of the game in this shot. Also was playing around with a custom noise effect that gives the whole thing an interesting textured grain look. Looks even cooler when the noise grain is animated but it blows up the file size to a gigantic amount. Nevertheless, quite satisfied with how the look turned out even in its static form.
