Dimetrodon

Doodled this guy up in the sketchbook last night at a friends house. Really felt like drawing a dinosaur. This guy was one of my favs as a kid. Turns out the Dimetrodon wasn't actually a dinosaur. WHUT? They are synapsids...more closely related to mammals and actually went extinct around 40 million years before the appearance of the first dinosaur. Learning something new every day :)
