SWAN: Serene Womanly Assurance in Nature

SWAN (Serene, womanly Assurance in Nature) features two images in one. I used the idea of a swan surrounded in nature and combined it with classic imagery associated with black women in the 1970’s.

While the swan in the foreground is easy to spot, a woman with a stately Afro and large earrings can be found in the sun, birds, and hills.
